What in God's name is that bread? Have the BA chefs ever actually eaten a pulled pork sandwich? I'm all in favor of this sort of food making it into the cabin, but this has the looks of the FLounge burger - something simple that BA manages to mess up beyond comprehension. BA catering, unfortunately, seems out to confirm every negative stereotype about British cooking.

Note to BA - get rid of the bread in the picture. You need something softer to soak up the juices. Well, at least we hope there are juices, though I have my doubts.

I guess these people also feel something should also be done about the inflight entertainment - only opera and Shakespeare plays should be shown.

Don't knock 'em until you've tried them. Frankly, just as accessible in texture and taste as something like sweetbreads, which would be at home on a fine dining menu.

Perhaps you should read the link in the OP before making such an accusation? But then why let fact get in the way of a misplaced 'observation'?

Even, now obviously downmarket, establishments such as Fortnum & Mason seem to sell pulled pork products.

Seems BA is looking to add " regional favorites" to the First Menu.. My next BA First Trip is in Feb . Perhaps by then they can roll out some pickled trotters and eggs, fried pork skins, mac -n -cheeze , and the always popular Sloppy Joe. I best head down to Walmart and get some fancy new clothes for my trip.

Hog or roast beef!!!

If they really wanted to go down this fast food route they should of gone for something more quintessentially British like a hog roast roll with stuffing and apple sauce

or roast beef and horseradish cream

YUMMY
