Award availability tool problems

Has anyone else experienced problems with the award availability tool.

"system not responding" when you select specific dates from the calendar.
I have tried with both Safari and Firefox over the past week.

The wife and I want to go away in Feb, has anyone got any tips for finding what is available for specific dates regardless of destination without going through each city one by one.

So far I have found that there is no award availability to any city in the US in either CW or First during the 1st week of Feb !! Should I be surprised !

The reward availability map on ba.com does not work. To be assured you are finding correct availability you need to search for city by city.
You can also sign up for kvs tool or awardnexus.

Your other problem is that you have left it to the last minute. Awards may have been made available from 355 days out so there could have bee availability before which is now gone. You could start monitoring the cities you would like to fly to see and see if availability opens up at any particular time shortly in advance of the flight.

BA admits to having an issue with Safari and it working with the flight availability option for redemptions (OCL loading blah blah). 18 months they have had it and no solution. Very very poor. It is hard enough finding a flight as it is, but now you need to use another browser
