  • BA issued tickets (can include other carriers) ^
  • TA issued (on BA stock) booking with only BA flights ^
  • TA issued (on BA stock) booking with other carriers

  • Some TP runs can be booked online at aa.com. Be sure to use the Sort by schedule option in order to locate the exact flights you found on the ITA Matrix tool.

EU-LHR-DME return in CE would net 360 TP if you can get a good price on the matrix. If you fly out of MLA, it's 440 TP.

Does this sound good good value:

LAS-CLT-SJU-MIA-LAS (DEP 0110 LAS arrive SJU 1311, dep SJU 1525 arrive LAS 2250) on AA / US all in first for £625.00/ 390 TP so works put at £1.60 per TP?

Any examples where the sweet spots are from? The fares I'm seeing e.g. ex-HEL (440TP) are higher than the QR 560TP fares ex-ARN.

Seems good for a same day turnaround although probably going to be tiring!

Isn't a straight LAS-LAX/PHX-SFO r/t cheaper per TP? Edit: £1.35/TP

Over and above suggestions from others, see if Dutch_122 can help. He's our resident helpful BA booking enabler - you'll need to pay over phone once he's booked you.

Booking is with BA in case you are on the BAP AMEX thus earning 3 avios per pound.

HNL-JFK

Opt for selecting flights by schedule (not price), restrict to 1 change or less & select up to 40 possible flights. Also, make sure you include one world airlines in the search. Final point, make sure that you don't have any breaks over 24 hours.... Oh, and if it still gives you a crazy fare, click the option to show the flights and see if any of the flights are pricing into the wrong booking class (like D for the LAX to JFK leg, you need to get it into I class)
Thank you for your help - i'm just having a look now - though dutch_122 has kindly offered to book for me

I'm very impressed with the help being offered by everyone - I was half expecting, as a newbie, to be "shot at" for "not looking" properly

SEA-ATL via CLT in E on US: 180 TP for 339$ (1.12£/TP)

Considering US seems to give full-fare economy TP's for deep discount economy according to the BA TP calculator (and hoping that isn't just a glitch), this opens up the possibility of a cheap TP run in deep discount Economy at an excellent £/TP rate. This one is available starting May 25 with 3 nights and May 28 for 0 or 1 nights -- 180 TP for 339$, i.e. 1.12 £/TP. All bookings are in E.

Leave SEA at 12.20 am on US 1818
Arrive CLT at 8.16 am

Leave CLT at 9.25 am on US 604
Arrive ATL at 10.35 am

Leave ATL at 5.15 pm on US 2794
Arrive CLT at 6.40 pm

Leave CLT at 8.20 pm on US 1845
Arrive SEA at 10.52 pm

Edit: Whoa, that fare went away rather quickly.

Edit 2: Currently available for 349$ on June 3 and 4; 1.15 £/TP.

This fare tends to drop by about £400 in January for travel later in the year. Just a FYI for anyone considering it.

Also, make sure you avoid booking the BRU-HEL-BRU legs op by FlyBe - these are non-TP earning.

QR have a great 241 offer at the moment ex-EU. The UK one is much more expensive.

See below for the pp price. HKG works out at £2.41 per point (£1348 for 560 points). Although not great for a true TP run, excellent value for that route. BKK even better - £1.99 per point.

Bangkok 1365 €
Dubai 1360 €
Phuket 1365 €
Maldives 1335 €
Bali 1575 €
Hong Kong 1650 €
Singapour 1640 €
Kuala Lumpur 1585 €
Melbourne 2225 €

Book by 16 May. Travel 1 June - 31 August. Minimum 5 nights, maximum 31.

It was an email offer and the conditions say:
Origine : Tout aéroport desservi par la compagnie en France, Belgique, Allemagne, Espagne, Suède, Autriche, Grèce et Royaume Uni.

I signed up on the French site for offers as well as the UK. The UK one came through about 5 minutes later with significantly higher prices. Despite what it says above, I imagine these are ex-PAR. Not had time to do any dummy bookings.

TP run booked with AA not all there on BA booking?

I've got a TP run booked in August which I eventually managed to book via AA.com. My itinerary and e-ticket arrived quickly and even included seat assignments on all the US Air sectors (2A on all, A320 and A321 mix, any good?). Anyway, I just glanced at the booking on BA.com and one of the sectors is missing.
My route is LUX-LHR/LCY-SNN-JFK-PHX-SEA at the start, then 6 days later, SEA-PHX and then PHX-JFK-LCY/LHR-BRU the next day. The one missing is the SEA-PHX and so MMB on BA only shows 980tps. Do you think I need to speak to BA before I go, wait and see if they post anyway or chase them up if they don't appear? I will have until the 8th Oct before my reset.
Thanks
AQ

I had the same issue with my HNL run, the HNL-LAX sector was missing. Didn't matter as everything posted correctly after I'd taken the flights.
