business class to usa

sorry if i've posted here but i didn't know the right forum

hi, next summer

i'm going to usa (nassau, Long island)

i've checked on internet and i 've realized that airlines offer approximately the same price in business class

and specifically: AZ 2060 KL 2000 0S 2050 BA 2030 IB 2020 AF 2020 LH 2100.

i'm on mile sand more, flying blue and executive club programs so miles will not be a discriminant factor.

what is your choice?

I would do Premium Economy and upgrade with miles. You lose only a v small amount of miles and if silver or above, you earn miles. I did this last year and it only ended up costing about £700 for a business class ticket.

Nassau is a random place to go but enjoy. I've been many a time.

BA fly direct to Nassau. All things being equal I'd go for BA

A lot depends on where your journey starts?

It does depend where you are originating. But I would observe that if you are somewhere in the middle of Europe AZ or OS might be better bets than others.

This is because FCO and VIE are > 4,200 miles from JFK, but LHR, MAD, CDG and FRA are between 3,451 and 3,855 miles from JFK.

Travelling via FCO or VIE will potentially offer you a good extra hour's sleep on the longhaul and overnight eastbound, potentially helping with jet lag, and depending on your origin could offer slightly more time in longhaul seats vs. shorthaul seats.

I would avoid KL due to the risk of a cradle seat.

OP has VCE as location, so I'd be tempted by IB via MAD, as the business class is supposed to be pretty good TATL, BA of course via LHR, or possibly LX via ZRH. AZ and DL fly direct, but are hideously expensive, though comparable if you change one way, though personally I would avoid both, and LH too (but that's personal experience in LH's case)
