Just a personal opinion of course.....
Better to be a dour miserable winner than a cheery loser I say.

Just a personal opinion of course.

Very nice way to spend a few hours before my train back to Manchester
@my bolding. Go on then, spill the beans and tell us how old you are?

I had you down as mid 40's (ish!)

Sounded like a nice morning and Happy Belated Birthday

I had a great day here in New York: I took my best friend from Sydney to visit the moma, she's in Sydney so we had a Skype session to show her the works of art.
Haven't decided yet what to do this weekend, but since I'm on holiday it'll be fun

I've had a good day; busy at work especially as we have a spy in who will no doubt report back to management what we do/don't do........I got to the point today where I don't care & put the tennis on the tv in our reception area

I went to the pub with hubby for a couple of drinks having watched our Scottish friend win through, came home & booked a 12 night BGI holiday for only £1720 & 50K Avios (plus extra for the hotel) for my special birthday next May & poor hubby was so tired after a 14 hour workday, he doesn't even know yet because he sloped off to bed

I get the fun of picking up a pram from a shop in 3 hours. So that will be a weekend of trying to put it together and trying to fit the european car seat into a US VW. Then I am sure i will have to join in sorting all the baby clothes just carried from the UK. And go shopping for more stuff we dont actually need. The prospect of a nice cold pint of hoegaarden later is slipping away. But you know what? Still better than being in work!! TGIF indeed!!^

So, Wednesday was my birthday and this weekend was the plan for my birthday treat. LHR-GLA tonight, GLA-BRR tomorrow for a beach landing. BRR-GLA-LHR on Sunday after a night camping in the wild.
The weather forecast for London is 30 degrees, the weather forecast for Barra is 12 degrees.... I have now postponed the trip for 2 months and will spend this weekend diving off Poole with my big bro!!!

I love the UK in summer!
