It went through the Y line at YVR like wildfire apparently.... thanks I believe to the Australian couple I met who were supposed to be in F, and who found out from me. Aussies can be very loud at times .

To update, letter from BA today saying a cheque for the equivalent of €1800 is on its way to me. No explanation as to why VS or AC were not offered.....

June 2013. The distance of your disrupted flight, as calculated in
accordance with EU legislation, was over 3500km. Based on this, you are
entitled to 600.00 EUR in compensation.
As there are four passengers included in your claim, the total compensation due is 2,400.00 EUR, which equivalent to 3,404.16 CAD.
We are arranging to send you our cheque, which will be made out to you as
