10459 for me. Glad I was able to get one within 100km of one target. The Alps did sort of give that one away though....

I think it's arguably a harder game if you're allowed to cheat with Google Maps ... when you get the location navigate around to find a sign or some other clues as to where you are .. work it out with Google etc. and shoot for a perfect score

My best effort here: http://bit.ly/18J58fr - 32375 points

Well I've managed the following two so far

Your guess was 16390.343 km from the correct location and gave 49 points.

Your guess was 1.052 km from the correct location and gave 6391 points.

(The later was a portugese "merry christmas" (ano novo), with chinese letters on the shops, and UK style traffic crossings. Had to be Macau)

17700.

It helped that I actually recognized a bridge. I was exact on one, very close on 3, but then I put a road in Goa that was actually in Mexico!

My first picture was of a road surrounded by arid scrub land. My first thought was of somewhere in Australia and when I panned round and saw what looked like Ayers rock in the distance it seemed to confirm my thought.
Not sure what I was supposed to do after that but I only got 126 points for it so I flounced off in disgust to feed the dogs instead. I shall try again later once I've read the instructions.

Looks like fun though.
