And the fare at the low levels is ex-TLV, not in reverse.
The £792 ++ fare I quoted is ex LON, so not just ex-TLV. No need for positioning flights. Fare basis is RRTEUIL. Min stay 3 days, max 12 months.

Some interesting possibilities with the stopovers. And it's cheaper.

Hi You Travel Wizards out there.
I have a week off in Nov around the 17th and was thinking of doing a TP run.
Has anyone got any suggestions for one from Manchester, number of points required approx up to 500 but a decent number would do for less than £700. Could do a stopover as I have time.
Please let me know your suggestions, any would be much appreciated.

:-)

QR may be a good alternate option, a return with two legs >2000 miles will net 560 TP's in J.

Although most cheap fares have advanced purchase requirements, so you may not find much at all, especially at that low price point.

QR = Qatar Airways (or is it airlines?)... Either way - the new Middle-East, DOH-based, airline member of oneworld.

After our trip in March to LAS I will need 95 TP's to keep Silver, year ends June 8th. I have had a look at AA.com to do a short LAS/LAX trip and noticed that the instant upgrade fare has gone, replaced by just the "First/Business" price. £530 is too steep for me, (I can get the Amex card for £450 and cancel when the Marco Polo card arrives with pro rata refund).

I then looked at LAS/LAX/SFO, still no YUP bus a more reasonable £350. Unfortunately I did this one last year and the fog associated with SFO sent the trip into a tailspin.

So can anyone suggest a trip before June that would get me the 95 TP's? I can do it from here to EU if required, but would only travel up to MAN to start the run, and not cost me more than £350.

With the £200 CE sales on now, could you not do MAN-LON-xxx return for 20+40+40+20 TPs?

Can anyone assist me please. I have some time between 20/12 - 24/12 and will like a tier point run that gives me about 500TP. i am near Heathrow airport and not too fussed about destination although new york wont be a bad idea. i also dont want to spend more than £800 - £1000.
Any help gratefully received. Should add that i am new to this.

Do you have any Avios? If you can get to the US using Avios then you can do a cheapish tier point run over there.

If you paid to fly to New York you'd use up most of your budget and still be nowhere near 500TP.

Hmmm: I had priced up about 3 days ago (on AA.com) the BRU-LHR-IAD-HNL run that I did last summer, and was pricing at the 1700 mark - fare rules were (I think I5SALE). Now looking again for same dates (around Jul25) have shot back up to 2200 or so, and no I5SALE. I had a look on the AA advantage forum, and there is nothing about a sale.....

I'm suspicious this is down to the BA sale(since some of the trip is on BA metal)- has anyone found the same?
