Some cancellations due to Fog etc at LHR 15-16 Nov
I am hearing that airlines have been asked to cancel some flights tomorrow and Friday due to expected fog and knock-on ATC implications.

Noooooooooooooooo!
Maybe I am jinxed!
Hopefully we won't get delayed on Saturday 17th, flight to LCA is leaving quite early, 08:40am
On the bright side however at least we may be able to sample the Flounge properly if we do.
I bet that if there are delays though we won't be notified in any way and expected to wake up at silly o'clock in the morning and turn up at the airport on time like last time
I also hope this doesn't ruin my 100% upgrade success at Hilton T4 either

Panny boy, please make sure to list all your flights on here. This way we can avoid being on the same plane with you. .

I had the same thought. I wonder if the airline will understand when I call up and say "I need to change my flight - it's on the same day as Panny's."

I'm booked on BA 362 tomorrow, which was cancelled almost exactly 24 hours before expected departure. Looks that BA have been quick on the trigger to proactively cancel flights.
EDIT: My clock was off--it was cancelled about 21 hours before departure.

I really hope they don't cancel my flight, the whole point of the trip is to attend a christening on Sunday

Potential cancellations due to ATC at LHR 15-16 Nov
Glad I have arrived back home today from TXL then. Absolutely perfect flying conditions except for wrong wind directions requiring U turns at each end.
