CW pre-takeoff drinks: anyone ever order bucks fizz?

We all know that the CW pre-takeoff drinks are champagne, orange juice and water.

Therefore I was thinking that on my next LHR-BAH-DOH I shall ask for a bucks fizz as my pre-takeoff drink!

Does anyone else do this?

Why not? I do it all the time. Er, when in CW, that is.

Yes all the time. When asking for a champagne and juice to mix my own, I am usually asked if I would just like to be brought a bucks fizz instead.
Sometimes it's the drink, sometimes an empty glass to self mix. Either works just fine.

Without fail, Mrs tooblue and I ask for (and receive) Bucks Fizz pre-flight. Sometimes we just get given a couple of champagnes and a couple of OJs for a double DIY Fizz kit.

Would be nice if they also included option to add creme de cassis to make a kir royale (they do advertise this on the food and bev menu but not seen it pre take-off). The CW champagne is actually ok (Taittinger I think), a step above Pommery but probably not as good as the vintage pop they get in F and Concorde Room

Always take a glass of orange and a glass of champagne, drink half of each and mix them. Very nice

I've been trying to persuade my daughter to order it - but even she won't have it.
