Is this a normal LGW ET breakfast?

This was on a band 3B flight: Large chocolate twist*, Moma porridge, yoghurt.

I expected a sub roll (which generally seems to refer to its sub-zero temperature) but this combination was actually rather pleasant.

*This is what Costa calls their lookalikes - I don't know if they have a different name.

This is normal from my experience, whenever I get a flight pre 8am out of LGW. Did it also come with a bottle of actimel?

Yes. Seems better than my last LHR 3B breakfast in ET - it felt fairly substantial, especially considering the competition is basically EZY.

Yes, first had this from LGW last June, in place of the nasty "breakfast roll" they used to serve

I am pretty certain that it's the normal breakfast at that time of the morning. I think my husband calls it "the twisty thing with yoghurt drink". Not sure about the porridge though.

I avoid the morning flight whenever I can (nothing to do with service - I just don't like getting up early), so I am not 100% sure, however.

It is indeed the normal breakfast in ET from LGW. I'm glad you liked it. The Moma yoghurt is delicious, although a lot of people don't even try it because it's not a "known" brand name.

If you drink coffee, try dipping the twisty thing in it. Nom nom

Baconroll, I quite agree. The Moma yoghurt is superb and really really tasty. I usually manage to convince my brother that he doesn't want his

One of the many things I get up to in the galley I often have hot chocolate with me to work and dip the twisty bit in that, which is heaven. Coffee-dipping is great though. I think I need to get out more

Just ask for another from the crew. We usually have some left. I tend to keep some when I clear in, just in case you're onboard

Hot Chocolate....now we're talking

I was atking to a WW cc last summer and she mentioned the great will-power needed to resist gorging on the leftover desserts. I must admit that WT pear one is good. Is that even still around!?

Last long haul I did, we had apple & blackberry crumble with custard. The one I find really hard to resist is the banoffee pie. Luckily, I haven't seen that for a while
