Stupid Question: What are Mixed Fleet and WW Crews?
I'm sure this is explained somewhere, but I can't find it after searching and reading through numerous threads: What are Mixed Fleet and WW Crews?
From the various references to the MF, I infer that it perhaps combines newer and more experienced cabin staff and was perhaps instituted in the wake of BA's labor troubles. And I guess that WW crews are distinct from that, but aside from Willie Walsh I don't know what the WW would stand for.
Thanks for any illumination.

Mainline BA crew at LHR are split into three "fleets".
Mixed Flee - The newest fleet, who operate a selected number of Long Haul and Short Haul routes. New Contract crew. (Airbus/777/747)
EuroFleet - Short Haul Europe including North Africa and Russia. (Airbus/767)
WorlWide - Long Haul, operating the remaining Long Haul routes. (777/747 +/- 767)

You've more or less got it. WW stands for World Wide, who are the longer-standing crew members who only serve long-haul. Mixed Fleet are newer crew members who do both short and long-haul. The third group is SH or short-haul, who do exactly what it says on the tin!
Anyone joining as a cabin crew member now would join MF.
