OT: Daily Mail claims that QF F is like the Starship Enterprise

It must be a slow news day at the Daily Mail.

Link here

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't that first photo with the central seating area just a marketing setup? And it features different seats to the other pictures.

Furthermore they say "Quantas" in the page title in the Internet browser.

In other news, Pope is not Buddhist.

The first picture is part of the mock-up at the interiors showroom in TLS.

Things like this make me laugh... Because you know that somewhere, someone is going to book a QF F seat, expecting to see that, because the Daily Mail said that is what they were going to get... And will be sorely disappointed.

People that book QF F seats for cash probably do not read the Mail.

The central area (pictured top) is provided for flyers to stretch their legs and sit down for a drink.
They really must be dumb, as that area does not actually exist...?

And the really funny thing is that they then show a picture of the centre seats!

Is that not appropriate punishment for reading the Daily Mail, though, especially if they paid the full whck for their F seat?

Every day is a slow news day in that loathsome rag. However if you want chronic misreporting. low level tittle tattle and a pandering to middle class fears then this is the paper for you. Am surprised Qantas first hasn't been linked with falling house prices and a surge in unwanted immigration

They never get old. ^

At least BA is able to advertise its OW partners for free in the papers it provides.

As a star trek fan, the color scheme does look similar.

Which was the airline with the "Captain Kirk" chair in the centre of the nose of a 747 or something like that?

(Captain Kirk is Star Trek, right?)

SQ has a single seat right at the front of their 747's in F. Yes, Kirk is Star Trek.
