Question Fuel surcharge increase again?

Does anyone keep track of changes in the fuel surcharge? They don't seem to get much press when they change these days.
I just booked a CW redemption to Denver and the surcharge was £309, has this increased recently?

It depends on when you last booked tickets.

A nice graph posted by Shuttle-bored show the rates between 2003-2010 inclusive in this thread - http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/briti...8th-feb-2.html

well most dont separate the fuel surcharge like BA but of course the total you end up paying is broadly the same. it counts against you on BA redemptions of course but for a cash ticket frankly it is of no consequence-all carriers adjust their fares for fuel in these volatile times

I had a redemption set for 2012, paid taxes up front. Shifted it a few times, no problems, no new charges.

I then shifted it to NYE, no new charges, no refund. I then shifted it back to Jan a few days later, and got hit for more taxes
