London Drinks Thursday 8 March: Yahillwe, LondonAndy and you?
Given that most of us probably haven't caused our livers enough damage over the last week or so Yahillwe and I thought that we better stick a date in the diary for drinks in London.
Venue to be determined, but given that some of you may be able to flex your plans slightly with enough notice we thought we'd stick a date in the diary now. Of course the flipside is that some of you will be told the day before that you have to fly to the other side of the world, but hey ho
UPDATE 2 MARCH WITH VENUE AND REVISED HOSTESS
Some good news and bad news. The good news is that the venue we used a few times last year has let us back again, the fools! It is a Davy’s winebar 5-10 minutes walk from Victoria station, close to St James’s Park station, (relatively) conveniently situated for all major London airports:

They have put aside a space for about 20 people, the same spot as previous times for those who have been at a previous event there.
Venue: Taspter, 3 Brewers Green, Buckingham Gate, London, SW1H 0RH
Nearest tube stations (closest first): St James's Park, Victoria, Westminster
Start time: 18.00ish
Finish time: Whenever you like - I'll be at 36,000 feet at the time
Finding it!: It isn't the easiest place to find (sorry!). It is at the junction of Caxton Street and Brewers Green, with a corner entrance to the wine bar downstairs (almost next door to the Blewcoat School which is a National Trust gift shop open until 17.30 if you arrive early!). If coming from Victoria Street turn down the road with "The Albert" on the corner.
The bad news is that I'll now be on a flight to New York whilst the event it taking place, but I'll make sure that I toast you all whilst I'm up in the air. Yahillwe MAY still be there, but RedVee has said that she'll definitely be there to keep you all under control. Given that she'll be taking over the hosting, can I please refer you to post 93 of this thread, which has an update on attendees and which will also be where RedVee will post any last minute updates.

It's in the diary but I can't say for definite yet. Thanks for organising though.

I'll try to pop along if it's north of the river, but would have preferred a Friday/Saturday
