Transfer Avios (Airmiles) to Avios (BA)

The Avios (Airmiles) states that I can now make transfers to Avios (BA) but it directs me to the account page but I don't see any options to make the transfer.

Anyone else see how to do it please?

I must be having a thick moment ...........

Hi uk1.

I just managed to transfer my Airmiles Avios to BAEC.
If you go to My Account, there's a link under your balance that allows you to "Combine my Avios". You choose BA, give an account and PIN, sign your life away, and hey presto!

I got an email from BA and Avios confirming the transaction.

It looks like you can transfer any amount back and forth at will.

Mind you, they're not showing on my BAEC account yet...

Actually .... I've now lost "combine" and can't see it. Not on my account page.

On My Account page I have the balance and under it is "view my activity" and "purchase more avios" - that's all.

Out of interest, was your Airmiles account a household account?

Not a household account

I don't have a household account and have the same problem, that there is no 'combine' option in my account section.

I could do with the miles out of my old Airmiles account to book a trip to NY at the new rate.

Patience is a virtue but also tediously dull.

Avios seems to be the same number as the old Airmiles number
