Tea choice in F
After reading a TR on SQ F which had a large selection of teas, my question is how many tea types does BA carry? When I was in F they only had a few!

BA have three types...English Breakfast, Darjeeling and Earl Grey as well as Green tea and those odd fruit and herbal mixtures.
I noticed United F just do plain and simple "Tea".....no mention what type.

HIDDY gives a fairly good run down of the odd fruit and herbal mixtures in this thread.

In fairness, SQ F and CX F carry a the same selection of Western teas as BA plus a series of Chinese teas (Oolong, White tea, Jasmine, Pur-Ee (Red tea) etc) that their local Chinese pax tend to order. BA tend not to have just pax expecting the same offering unless they are flying to Far East destinations; and they still don't bother even then.

From my trip report:
Teas - Traditional English Breakfast, Darjeeling, Earl Grey, Pure Green, Pure Camomile, Pure Peppermint, Lemon and Ginger or Blackcurrant, Ginseng and Vanilla
I can attest that the 'Pure Green' is rather nice.

Those flights are usually the only time I will ever drink Prince of Wales tea or Lady Grey. They're both kind of like New York -- nice to try every once in a while, but you wouldn't want to stick with them long-term

Thanks, I love unusal teas! I assume these are twinnings? Obviously the teas aren't going to be as good as at the Ritz but I did find the teas a bit watery.

I often bring my own. I have a small tea caddy that my wife bought me a few years ago and
stock it with my favourite teas. I first ask if the CC would not mind using it and they just keep
it in the galley for the duration of the flight. Simple!
