Redeeming BA miles for partner flights

Is it possible to use BA miles to get a one way AA reward ticket that is 25k? When I use the BA search, it only shows the options that are 12.5k miles.

For a domestic economy flight on AA, BA charges 12.5K miles, and can only access those award seats that appear on aa.com as "MileSAAver." If you were redeeming AA miles, you'd have the option of obtaining an "AAnytime" award seat for 25K miles; when you redeem BA miles, there is no such option.

If you can find a Business Class MileSAAver seat on aa.com, you should be able to redeem 25K BA miles for that seat.
