JFK-LHR New First?

Hi Guys,

I know there are a few flights from JFK-LHR, I was just wondering if anyone has flown it recently and if the aircraft was equipped with the new first? I am flying on Thursday and I am really hoping that it will be the NF.

Thanks

Hi hmansouri and welcome to Flyertalk ^

There are great chances for you to have NF,

Check this one here,

http://www.ftdashboard.net/dest/jfk.htm The green boxes are those with flights that have NF
and here
http://www.ftdashboard.net/overview/baflights.htm (check your flight number)

You have more than 90% chances to have it in every flight.

If you are on the BA182 is for sure.

It's now scheduled to be on every rotation. However it's not guaranteed as there is the possibility for an equipment swap, etc.

It is interesting how people think (me too in the distant past) that specific aircraft are assigned to fixed routes. However, I never knew how really complex this is until I started tracking NF.

I was convinced (based on the above tracking website) that I was going to get NF on the BA115 to JFK a couple of Saturdays ago, however it wasn't to be. I was bussed from A10 just for good measure. However, it was my first time in F, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, and thought it was far superior to CW (which of course it should be).

I had an email from the Executive Club a few weeks ago also confirming that it is now available on the JFK - LHR route, along with the recently refurbished Concorde room at JFK.

... with a footnote to the fine print that gives BA the get-out clause to subsitute
