Finally, Fasttrack boarding on domestic flights
As per the title, I connected through T5 today on the way back to EDI, and we departed from gate A1. On the walk down to that far corner of the terminal, I noted that the tensabarriers guiding the passengers to each gate had been rearranged to have a separate fasttrack lanes for silver/gold (and OneWorld equivalents).
And, more importantly, the fastrack lane was used to board our flight.
Great to see this happening at last.

Perhaps they'll add some barriers inside the A10 bus

Yes... It appears to be throughout the terminal.
The flight I was operating today departed from A20 and there was the tall "Fast Track" sign-age at the entrance to a separate lane that took them to one of the 3 desks. I noted it by gate A15/16(? - the one by EAT)... I have no idea if it was enforced or used as I was welcoming peeps onboard, but looked effective.
Hopefully a good sign.

I'm glad to hear some good news about priority boarding for a change. And I hope it continues.
Lots of LHR colleagues have always done priority boarding, and enforced it, even without the signs.
Appears that some of the benefits for our premium passengers are being enforced again. Well done Keith

I know some gold/status pax feel they can just head for the front of the line, as they have the right for priority boarding, but my English upbringing makes that impossibly uncomfortable for me

Noticed it as well Friday, on my LHR-FRA in A3,
did not use it, since there were only 3 persons still queuing, when I arrived rushing from GF.
However, have been told, to use fast-track boarding, next time, and it was something they were trying to implement.
