Buying miles = how much money?
I was trying to buy miles on the BAEC website. I am a general member, with 100,000+ miles but I do need a few more for an award.
When I went to the website, I was required to log on. After I logged on, the purchase page displayed a message: Our records show you to be less than 18 years of age, or some such verbiage.
Long question short: how much does it actually cost to buy miles?

£16 per 1000 BA Miles, plus £15 Processing Fee (so 1000 costs £31, whereas 10,000 costs £175....etc)
You can purchase upto 24,000 BA Miles per year.
