Lounge access on a MFU from WT+ to CW

Question Lounge access on a MFU from WT+ to CW
I have a booking MAN-LHR-SFO paid WT+ and MFU'ed to CW.

In MMB, it shows access to the lounge at MAN but not access to the lounge at LHR. Is this correct? I thought I would have access to the lounge as I am flying CW from LHR to SFO. (I have no status as yet!)

You have lounge access all the way through. Don't worry about MMB it is a mistake.

Phew! Thanks.

I thought it had gone back to the days when the dragons at LHR didn't allow you in MOST of the time if you were on a MFU booking to Club and no status!

Did that really ever happen? I can understand on Op-ups, but not on MFUs or CW/F award tickets.
