If they were playing by the rules, that means they thought you were sexy/cute/hot/do-able etc...

Maybe it was just because I had my shorts on and was showing a bit of leg!

Indeed... if you have a nice set of pins, it is a sure fire way to get some attention...

On BA? No, never! Unless the crew member makes up their own welcome announcement and adding and removing their own little bits. Otherwise it should be: "On behalf of Captain (plus name) and the entire crew, welcome to..."

Well BBB, in response to your "take care", at least she didn't say (in a worried voice), "Why?! What have you done!"

A bit OT

I am always amazed how fresh and good looking the crew are after a long-haul flight. I look like sh*t with a beard and the ususal "after two bottles of champagne" face.

Crew are spotless, clean and ready for a photo op. ^

We do get a bit of rest onboard during longhaul flights, which is sometimes needed.

I don't know how other crew do it. I usually get up 10 to 15 minutes before wake-up time to get changed and washed, brush my teeth, put on new make-up and do my hair. I would never in my life get straight out of the bunks and go out in the cabin! Brushing my teeth and re-applying make-up is a procedure throughout the flight btw!

Haha!! I've sometimes wondered that too, but thought it would be rude of me to bring that up!

Snap! I'm exactly the same, getting out 15mins early to refresh. Very rare for me to actually kip on my break. Although just to raise the feet for a while is relaxing.
