MGA-MIA-DFW-PDX
The final segment is now getting us to PDX at 10:45pm instead of 8:35pm. Apparently AA1961 is eliminated (6:20pm DFW-PDX). The only way to PDX on AA is through DFW. Now we have 3 hr connections both at MIA and DFW. Any chance BA will give us better flights? I am quite certain AA doesn't route MGA to DFW. The only option I can think of though, is to use an Alaska or Horizon flight. Any chance they will go for that? We live over 2 hrs from PDX and would really like to get home earlier.

call your local SC - I find them to have been very helpful in the past with partner schedule changes - had some issues with CX and they got award inventory open and rebooked me quite comfortably. It helped that I had my preferred option prepared before calling so doing some homework online on what you want will help...
