OT: 747 Bellycam take-off and landing

Great video. Wouldn't dropping the nose gear early set off all sorts of alarms at the driver's seat?

Wouldnt set off alarms but you'd have to use the alternate system. SAA seem to let their guys have fun!

Believe this is an MK Airlines 747-200F.

(Quick Q: on the -400, the alternate extension only separates nose/body and wing landing gear, does it not? So you wouldn't be able to lower the nose without the body MLG deploying too?)

Ok, I knew it was a classic just assumed SAA.

And yes you cant split Nose/Body on the -400, but you could pull the body gear uplock c/b to stop them releasing I guess.
