I believe not, since the lounges aren't THAT big!
IME, direct-from-lounge boarding is only really done at certain airline outstations, where the lounge can be situated directly at, above, or near the one or two or three gates that the airline uses (So EK at LHR, the BA lounge at SFO for BA/CX flights).
Someone should correct me if I am wrong, which is a definite possibility.

So, I guess that is "direct boarding" in a sense. Although, since you have to show your BP at the level of the lounge, then take an elevator to the boarding level..its not completely direct.

Maybe I am alone in this thought... but I find everything about EK nothing short of tacky. their Business Class and First Class on the A380 screams nothing more to me than a flying version of the interior of a 1990 Rover 600!

My son at 11 months old on Concorde
Note the champagne cork in his mouth the stewardess gave it to his as he started crying on takeoff and now he only drinks vintage bolly!!! he did not like the red wine cork as much
