Hello,
I posted about my family and I (5 adults, 1 child) going to MRU on 07/08/09. After going through the documents, I realised that we have 3 different booking references (only 2 passengers per booking reference). Just wanted to know if we are all counted as one group which I hope, so we will all be pre-assigned seats 72 hours before because of the one child. We all booked together, through BA over the phone at the same time; also, if we are not considered to be together due to the 3 different booking references, does that mean that the child and the one adult that is with the child (my little brother) on the same booking refernce will be given seats 72 hours before? As for the remaining 4 of us, will we have to wait until 24 hours before? If so, this will be horrible as it will be unlikely to find seats next to the child and adult who have been pre-assigned seats. Any help would be very much appreciated.

One explanation is that when you booked there were only 2 seats available in the cheapest fare bucket, only 2 in the next cheapest, and 2 more in the next cheapest.
If all 6 seats had been booked under the same PNR then they would have booked into the cheapest fare bucket that had all 6 seats available at that time.
