Can I book for a friend on BA?

Can I book for a friend on BA?
I want to book a return flight on ba's website for a friend; we are both based in the uk and the flight is lhw inverness. is this possible?

Welcome to FT!

Yes. At one stage in the online booking, it asks you if the card holder will be travelling. Be sure to pick the right answer , if you don't then your credit card might need to be presented at check-in. You can see all this at no risk, simply complete a dummy booking up to the point where it asks for your credit card details.

There are no direct LHR-INV flights on BA. Direct flights are on BACON from LGW.

BMI fly LHR - INV. On both BA and BMI it asks if the card holder is paying for the flight. just select the right options and you will be alright!
