Question regarding 2500 tier point upgrade qualification
Last year, in a year ending in February 2005, I only qualified for Silver membership. My international travel picked up in 2005, and between February 2005 and September 2005, I earned 1620 tier points and earned Gold membership. BA "reset" the tier points at that time, and changed my qualification year to October 2005 through October 2006. From September to December 2005, I earned an additional 1040 Tier Points.
As I earned 2660 tier points in my original qualification year, I inquired by email about the 2500 tier point upgrade certificate. BA now informs me that the 2500 tier point level must be reached in my current qualification year. I am not sure how to do that if BA keeps changing the qualification year when I reach 1500 tier points.
Is BA correct, or should I pursue this issue to a higher level in the BA organization? Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes - they're right (and I'm sure someone will reply quicker than me!)
Basically, the 2500 is for Golds. When you're Gold, you can earn as many points as you can in your membership year - they won't get reset til the end of your membership year.
(That's why they're referred to as the Gold Upgrade for Two certificates)

So from blue, get your 600 - upped to silver, year reset. If you get 1500 inside that year, upped to gold, year reset?
Then it's a case of getting 1500 (or 600 if you didn't get upgraded) inside the year or down you go?

Never mind the 2500 one which is easy to get, I'm more concerned with the 3500 TP one, has it gone forever?
