BA moving to Terminal B at Paris CDG

I heard earlier today that BA are moving to Terminal B at Paris CDG at the beginning of December. The shift follows the move of Star Alliance carriers back to Terminal 1. 2AC, where BA currently sits, is to have some work done, but I'm unclear if that means BA will move back to 2AC at a later point. NB it appears that all 2AC carriers are moving at some point over the next 6 weeks.

On lounge access, 2B has a contract lounge (Extime) that's been used by Star carriers including LH group airlines. I guess that will be the contract lounge for a while. Doubt it will be as good as the AA or CX lounges, but hopefully the opening hours will better match BA's schedule.

You are very presumptuous that BA will pay for lounge access.

I have yet to visit CDG but with family recently moving to Paris it was soon to be frequented. Am I right in thinking this is probably a downgrade lounge wise or were AA and CX not worth writing home about?

I always used CX, and whilst it unsurprisingly wasn't The Wing, it was very decent for an outstation lounge in terms of seating, tarmac views and food/beverage. Unfortunately it's been closed for a while, and the AA lounge next door operates off limited hours.

So if, and it's a big if, BA decides to pay for lounge access, depending on flight time it could end up being advantageous.
