Malaga winter service reductions ?

Is it my imagination, or has BA severely cut back its winter schedule to AGP? On some days there is only one flight from London (ex LGW) and some weeks there are only 2 LCY flights throughout the whole week.

I am pretty sure that last year there were still 5 or 6 LCY flights, even over the winter, and a bunch more LGW flights than this year.

If I am not imagining this, it seems a very significant downgrading of AGP as a BA destination. That is odd, as loads have always seemed to be consistently heavy, both in terms of UK and Spanish pax and (especially in CE) Middle East pax connecting through London.

It seems the LCY service has been reduced, which may have something to do with crew recruitment and the agreement with Stobart Air.

Can't speak for LCY but LGW has only lost one going from 14 down to 13 per week

See KARFA 's post #4 for the details https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/brit...es-2019-a.html

It is just a bit skewed away from mid week. Including the LHR, LGW and LCY services:

Sunday 3 November = 4 services
Monday = 4 services
Tuesday = 2 services
Wednesday = 1 service
Thursday = 2 services
Friday = 4 services
Saturday =3 services
= 20 services a week.
