bumping this thread to ask a question. As OW Emerald, can one select the premium economy seat on the LHR-MAD 777? they have it on the schedule next summer. Can a OW Emerald buy Y seat and select a PE seat?

I'm OWE and currently not letting me book a PE seat on my Y ticket - my flight to MAD is in August 2026.

That will all depend on loads, historically WTP Has been blocked initially. If they need it for Club due to high numbers they have used it as an overspill for Club Europe, equally if they need it for Euro Traveller due to loads this cabin may open nearer the time but it now will be far too early to anticipate loads for next Summer.
For the Crew this has always ended up being a bit of a njghtmare as people were moaning when WTP was used for Club, although its still better than the normal Club. Seat and equally when used for Traveller people cited discrimination and all sorts.

By any means, and I dont want to be Scrooge, but this far out there could plenty of aircraft changes, including a downsize to a A320/321 so dont hope too early, until on the day even

Thats interesting cause when i looked 2 weeks ago it for sure showed a 77L since there was a full row 8 and it was behind doors 2. I honestly hope it changes to the 77H but I am fine with the 77M. i guess time will tell!

Just booked a trip to MAD in April. Definitely, the 77L configuration with no F and CE/Club Suite starting in row 1.
