GRU Carry-on Rules?

I am travelling to GRU on UA this Sunday. On the return trip - GRU-IAD on UA, are the carry-on restrictions different from those in the US? (for example, size of carry-on piece, number of pieces, the famous quart-size ziplock bag with nothing more than 3 ounces?) Thanks very much!

Not sure about the carry-on restriction, it's safer to check directly with the airline. Although, AFAIK, the checked luggage can be up to 2 X 70 pounds, rather than the usual 50... at least with AA and CO.
And about the ziplock bag: yes, you'll need it there, too.
