Proof of vaccination for entry
Hi everyone! We have a company meeting coming up in Brazil and there are some folks flying in from the US. Everyone is vaccinated, but while looking at the entry requirements I noticed that Traveldoc says that the vaccination certificate must have a QR code on it. A lot of our US folks have the CDC vaccination cards and these don't have QR codes on them.
Does anyone have first-hand experience on whether this information is accurate or not?

The QR-code info is wrong, CDC vaccination card will suffice.

b) number(s) of the lot(s) of the applied dose(s); and

I recently came from the US and while the airline checked for the vaccination, it seemed they were more interested that the name matched. The Timatic site does not say anything about a QR code, only that the vaccination certificate shows that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before departure from the first embarkation point. The certificate must be in English, Portuguese or Spanish. This was also checked on arrival, again, that name matched. In neither case was anything used to read a QR code. Also remember that the Brazilian health statement needs to be done. It is found here: https://formulario.anvisa.gov.br/ Check with the airline, as they won't let you board without the correct documentation.

Perfect. Thank you for the updates everyone. I suspected that the QR code requirement on Traveldoc was wrong since I couldn't find it anywhere else either. We're good with all other documentation, so I think the meeting should be fine. Thank you again!
