Flights to Punta (PDP)

Flights to Punta (PDP)
I think in season there are flights from GRU (and maybe GIG) to Punta del Este. I can not find any information about any flights from Brazil to Punta.
I think these flights are loaded into the system only a few months before the Xmas season? TAM might have a seasonal service? Or maybe there are charter flights?
Any info helpful.

TAM flyes seasonly althought Ive no idea when they load the schedules. As neuromancer pointed out flying to MVD and then taking a rental car to Punta is a viable option. I did it a few months ago, the road is in good condition and takes about 1 1/2 hours.

Agreed; its an easy drive from MVD. Good rental car options at MVD (you will want/need a car) and the airport is relatively new and efficient.
