Trying to book family round-trip economy, 2 adults & 1 child (age 2 years), SGF-STM, and the pricing is $6000+ USD. Is it just me, or does this seem way too high?
Delta has decent connections, SGF-ATL-BSB, then Gol from BSB to MAO to STM. Can book all on Delta except for very last segment, MAO-STM, which I have to book independently with Gol, go figure. I liked the connections due to travel with a young child.
Suggestions welcome for trying to get a much better fare. Dates are flexible, looking to visit family in Brasil for next holidays season, mid-Dec. thru early Jan. '13.
