Colour-Coded Redemption Map

I made a colour-coded world map of all the zones:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/tm-tm/3549536862/sizes/l/

I put it together for my own benefit (I like being able to see this sort of thing at a glance - it certainly never really registered with me just from reading the countries list how out of place Cote d'Ivoire is in zone 6), but thought others might find it useful/interesting too.

I've only included the countries that are currently on the bmi webpage (so no Iceland, Slovakia, Mongolia, Libya etc).

Pretty indeed, good way to visualise the various points charts, cheers, will save it (though not sure if I'll ever use it :P)

Edit: Any chance for a key and an even bigger version - I like not having to squint and its hard to zoom in as far as you might like at the quality that's there... , and the lack of a key means you have to guess the zoning!

Nice work SalvadorS, and much appreciated. Have saved it for future reference

Astonished that you had the time to do all this. Are you a student ??

Just what I was thinking.

I think they should break it up into a number of states; Republics perhaps. But unified within an overall socialist Soviet rule though. We could call it the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

... nah, that'll never work.

Yes but the projection is very deceptive. In fact Russia is only about twice the size of Brazil.

You could imagine Donnington Hall pinning this up, with all the world domination points, and SMB with a white cat...

Excellent work salvadors ^

What would the key be? Just colour to zone number? It's relatively difficult for me to add that, and I'm not sure it'd add that much value .it only takes a second or two to scan down the list on the bmi site. This is more for seeing groupings better at a glance.

I should get around to updating it though: some of the Central Asian countries have moved zones since I made this...
