Transferring miles between *A programmes?

I have a lot of DC destinations miles, but not as many LH M&M miles. I'd like to book flights with Brussels Airlines (which is not yet a full *A member, only a M&M partner.)

Is it possible to transfer miles across from DC to M&M, or is this just wishful thinking?

I assume I can't use my DC miles to book flights with SN until it becomes a full *A member(?)

Thanks.

I think my question was kind of answered by GoldCircle in this post:

No, you cannot convert miles from DC to M&M.
Most likely, you have to wait until SN join *A which is said to happen this year.
I wonder if it's worth anyways. I though SN offers mostly short intra-european flights from BRU.

Yeah, you won't be able to transfer miles in that direction.

However, SN is now a codeshare partner of BD - try the call centre to see if they will book you on the BD code. I doubt you'll succeed, but it's got to be worth a try.

It's the direct routes into West Africa I'm interested in.

Fingers crossed they'll become a full *A member before long.

Thanks for all your advice ^

Thanks for the info. I just tried to find a route map of SN operated flight. It wasn't easy since their website shows tons of codeshare. In the end wikipedia was a good source. So, apart from Northern Africa and, of course, europe, the most interesting destination is Tel Aviv. That would mean that *A presence in TLV increased quite a bit over the last years (with BD, AC and now SN).
