Turning (briefly) to MissBehaving's question, repeated here from post 1338 above: LH is offering 3+ economy award seats from FRA to MIA and back on your preferred dates. But redeeming DC miles for transatlantic economy really, really isn't a good way to use them -- something else that was pointed out by Raffles in that other thread you started.

LON - NYC help please

Hello people,

Was looking at booking a lastminute trip to New York and found a good price on expedia for £339 with CO but today when i went to book it the flights have gone

So, before I go ahead and book a flight through CO.com I was wondering if you lot could help me. Ive been checking for any biz flights leaving anywhere in Europe on Friday 8th Oct and got nothing at all. I rang Dimound club and they only have a First on Swiss via GVA. Was tempted....

If anyone can check and see if Ive missed anything for Friday 9th Oct I would be greatful!

Update - spent hours tonight trying to answer my own question and failed miserably. The ana tool is a nightmare and seems to not work reliably or consistently with firefox. The quide in the sticky is out of date and the flaky english on the ana site doesnt help. To top it off I struggled to find flights on 23rd.
So to help me out, any suggestions of somewhere cool* out of LHR/MAN/NCL
on 23rd, back say 28th - that is available in biz?

somewhere with stuff to do/see when get there

I'm thinking Rio, South Africa, Dubai, New York, etc...

LHR -ORD Aug 2011 What's the chances?

Hi,
I'm trying to book two Business class flights from LHR to ORD on the 5th or 6th Aug 2011. I have tried phoning the ICC a few times and they say nothing is available and to call back. Am I likely to get the flights at some stage or are these difficult flights to get redemptions on? I've tried the ANA tool, but haven't had any success in finding flights.
Great website by the way, I've been a keen lurker for a while now and have had a couple of brilliant holidays thanks to information available on the site.

For the last few weeks I've been looking for 3 business seats from MAN to MCO, for 23rd July or later, returning 10th August or later. We'd ideally like a stop off in New York for 2-3 days, going out or coming back. I've phoned the ICC a few times, but they don't seem that helpful, just tell me to keep ringing back - I'm trying to be flexible to get the best chance of some seats, but don't feel I can keep asking her to look for more options

I've tried the ANA tool with no success, probably I'm doing something wrong as it comes up with no flights available. Please can anyone advise whether I'm looking for something that I'm unlikely to find, or whether it really is worth holding on in the hope that more flights will be released?

Can anyone check Air New Zealand availabilty?

Hi

I'd like to travel in business class (using miles)on Air NZ from LAX-LHR on Wednesday 3 November.

The call centre have told me there was availability yesterday but today there isn't. Expert Flyer suggests that seats are available.

Could anyone with access to ANA confirm this for me?
