Agent lottery at work. Hopefully agent #3 will actually use their keyboard and search for the right flights. You probably are doing this already, but if not, get them to look by sector. i.e. PVG-ZRH and then ZRH-LHR rather than PVG-LHR (or any other destination that isn't ZRH)

Sorry if this is covering old ground, but I am trying to find out how many C award seats are available on SQ MAN-SIN (SQ327) SIN-BKK (SQ970)round start of feb with return 3 weeks later. Problem is I am looking for 4 seats whereas I can only ever find ANA availability for 2 seats as it seems SQ only release 2 award seats at once, not much good if I can only get 2 in C then 2 in Y. Really need to be sure we can all get into C even if we upgrade later from Y. Any pointers to websites would be much appreciated, or if someone has info that would be great.

Very short notice for quite high-demand routes, and Saturdays as well. No flexibility on dates?

There are LX awards (via ZRH) in coach to/from LAX on your dates, otherwise the best I could see was Premium Economy on NZ1 and NZ2 (LHR-LAX-LHR). I'd be inclined to go for that, if you are able to redeem it -- I've never tried to redeem into PE (or on NZ), but I believe I've read here that it can be done.

In business on those dates;

Swiss can get you LCY-GVA-JFK (LX22 arrives JFK 14:30) then UA025 (17:55) UA025 shows as a 3 class service with only First Class available, don't know how bmi view this these days

UA022 08:45 17:13 then LX23 (departs JFK 19:35)

Seems a long way round though, but that's all I can find.

I stand corrected. A shame, as it would have been an excellent redemption on that route.

So it looks as though allyjb is either going to be in coach or will have to look at changing planes more often (e.g. the LX options that allanhuk mentions).
