Hi,

Looking to try and get 3 seats from MAN to MCO (either direct using VS or indirect CO/US) or MAN to TPA out on 02/08/11 returning 18/08/11. I've been checking for availability for up to a month beforehand using the ANA, Aeroplan and CO tools but cannot find any availability across the month, although some availability appears to be available if travelling from LHR/LGW.

Just wondering if I am a little too early in expecting to find some flights from MAN?

Many thanks.

G_G,

Thanks for the quick reply. Would I be correct in assuming that the WS+ denotes there is availability on this flight?

many thanks.

Now, if it were economy (and no one redeems in economy, now do they? ;)) CO would be the only choice for the sane traveller.

I think the original comment was meant tongue in cheek ;)

The new US Airways product is very good- and IMO superior to Continental in both cabins.

I'm considering a trip to LUG next spring/summer, and was checking availability. ZRH-LUG doesn't seem to be an issue, but I can't find a single seat EDI-ZRH and v.v. for pretty much the whole year - is that normal?

Cash fare for the round trip is >£500, so an award flight is appealing (alternatively U2 fly EDI-MXP, but that's not so convenient)

CheeseToastie Sep 20, 2011 8:31 am

Availability on these BD Regional Embraer services ex EDI is hopeless. Having said that I don't remember it being quite this bad before - I looked through the whole calendar on the reward booking engine and there are only 5 or 6 days over the whole year when there are any seats at all in either direction. If it makes you feel any better, CPH is even worse.

Hi guys,

I have a (potentially) huge problem.

ICC does not see business class availability (I need 1 seat) on the following flight:

June 11, 2012 VIE-DME OS605 20:50-01:30+1

ANA, Aeroplan and Continental all show two business class seats available, but ICC insists there is only economy left.

The (potentially) huge problem is because I am traveling with wife and three kids, four of us are booked in business, but one child (5 years old) was booked yesterday by ICC into economy. I am afraid OS may cancel the ticket when they see the child alone in economy.

Is there a way to move the kid to business to join the rest of the family? Is there actually business class availability? If yes, how do I make DC rebook the kid into business?

Hello,

I'm looking for some help please. I'm looking for availability on either of the following dates for two passengers in Business Class

17th, 18th, 19th of November from ORD-LHR.

I can't seem to find and non-stop or one-stop flights. Can anyone help? I'm happy to change planes twice.

Many thanks in advance.

Yes, there are Award seats available in Premium Economy:

I can't seem to find and non-stop or one-stop flights. Can anyone help? I'm happy to change planes twice.

Many thanks in advance.

Just found these flights on EF:

19/11/12 AC 512 ORD to YYZ dep: 19:10 arr: 21:38 2 x seats in business

19/11/12 AC 858 YYZ to LHR dep: 22:55 arr: 11:15 +1 2 x seats in business

These should be flat beds on the TATL sector.

Hi Taff_2003 and KVS,

Thank you for your help with this. One quick question, I've been using the ANA tool, in your opinion, which is more accurate and up-to-date, ANA or KVS?

Once again, many thanks.

There is no difference in terms of data accuracy (which is real-time), but with the KVS Tool you have easy access to both the ANA and a number of other engines, so you would have found the above-mentioned flights in less time it took you to write these posts ;).

Good good - I'd be worried if the last few remaining uses I might have for BD were anything other than prohibitively expensive and/or unavailable... Oh well, Sleazyjet or GLA-LHR-ZRH-LUG then!

Personally I would drive down to MAN and do MAN-ZRH-LUG. Availability seems pretty decent MAN-ZRH.

Ah yes, good suggestion - I forget that MAN exists, and that there is a direct train there! Apart from the odd busy period, there seems to be J and C availability on pretty much every flight every day. Even the cash fares are half that of ex-EDI. Thanks!

One reason I particularly like the look of LUG over MXP is the timing of the shuttle buses from the airport:

The buses arrive 20 minutes ahead of the flight takeoffs, bus departures are about ten minutes after the arrival of flights.
:D
