Something funky going on with booking
I made several redemption bookings last week. 2 of the 3 were paid for immediately, but the third required me to ring back because the taxes weren't loaded. I called back an hour later and they still weren't loaded and it ended up they weren't loaded until the following day (flight with LH). The person I spoke to took my cc details and said he would email me the itinerary. The itinerary has never turned up and today I see on my cc statement that it appears as though the money for the flight is back available on my card. The miles have not been deducted from my DC account (the other two have). Looking at checkmytrip.com it says the flight is confirmed, however there is no e-ticket number, whereas the other two flights I booked at the same time (also with LH) have e-ticket numbers.
What do you think - does my booking still exisit? Are things going to be ok, or should I be following it up with the ICC?
Thanks,
Mel.b

Sounds to me like it hasn't been ticketed, perhaps it is still in the queue, the Call Centre should be able to tell you if this is the case. Pester them until a ticket number appears on Checkmytrip, using the line 'someone travelling needs a visa and the application requires a ticket number,' sometimes gets expedited ticketing.

Somebody mentioned not so long ago that LH now require immediate ticketing of award bookings. I think that you need to get on the phone first thing.
