So if you can get the boss to stump up an extra £65-105 max. on to the £575 Y fare budget, you'd save 40,000 miles.

If Livilion comes back JFK-FRA on LH, it's yes you can. If it's SQ, as is the intention, then it's no you can't.
It may have changed, again, but IIRC the latest is; you have to walk over there yourself coming off LH F, transferring to LH C, i.e no limo to meet you at the gate on arrival.

Except if you put a misconnect into your itinerary from the start on, thst nearly forces UA (after they are late as usual) to rebook you into F on the next connection, which earns you again 300% miles on an original award ticket
