how do I book different classes on same booking?

The website doesn’t let me book out in Economy back in Business.
Do I need to call India to do this?
Or is it not possible with BMI at all?

If it is a bmi operated flight you get the option to upgrade after you have selected the desired flights. AFAIK, any combination of bmi and other carrier you'd have to call, ticket desk or visit a travel agent.

No I don't get that option.
It only gives me the option of upgrading both legs.
Both flights are BMI operated by the way.

Simple answer is that you can't via bmi's IT. Either a call centre job, or a travel agent call.

Not ideal, but it is a long standing issue.
