Planning a LHR-CUN (Cancun)
then CUN-YVR and YVR-LHR trip (involves a wedding in Mexico hence the small detour). Can anyone advise how miles would be calculated. Is it all taken as single segments or could it be a return to a midpoint eg Phoenix with an outward via CUN and return via YVR?

Is First on US charged at x2 or x1.5 as I'm guessing it's not really First but business class.

Much appreciated thanks!

I think you might have a hard time arguing that the most direct routing to PHX is via CUN. I'd be more straightforward: oneway to CUN (via any suitable routing) and asking CUN-YVR+YVR-LHR on AC for the return. Routing via YVR would not be outlandishly out of the way for a CUN-LHR routing, as long as you are on direct AC flights.

x2 (in the same way as earnings are x3, rather than x2).

If you can get the flight routing to work you could have it as a return flight to YVR with a stopover in CUN. But it might be trouble finding *A flights on this route

Domestic US F is charged at x1.5 if its part of a miles&cash C class transatlantic booking. But if its a standalone booking in US F then i think it will be charged at x2
