[FARE GONE] SK ARN Sale - For those looking for some cheap miles

Just an FYI, but SK have a economy class sale on at the moment, to Stockholm.

What good are they, you say, they probably earn a crummy 25%...... Well no, these specials book into V, so they earn 100%.

Book by 06 Feb
Fly by 31 May

LHR-ARN rtn £70.60 for 1822 status miles
LCY-ARN rtn £72.70 for 1788 status miles
DUB-ARN rtn €94.50 for 2026 status miles

(miles per Great Circle Mapper)

Great find, FlyingOnceMore! With fares like this, it took about 30 seconds to convince the girlfriend to go on a wekeend MR to Stockholm (with her newfound BMI card, too).

Great find. Thanks.

I have done a mock booking, but SAS doesnt obviously show the booking class?

Can they tell me how we can see the booking class on sas booking engine, please?

Steve.

I couldn't find either - but www.Kayak.co.uk reflects the correct (V) booking class at the same prices.

From a previous time I tried to book a KF flight I remember that SK has some booking fee, which can be conveniently avoided (or at least reduced) by booking via ebookers. Though it could be I am mixing this up with the blue1 website. Something to keep in mind.

BOOKED!

Yes, I saw that kayak code, thanks for the notice of that.

No booking fee on SAS website, AND 24 hours cancellation window, so I decided to go ahead, on the basis that if it were not 'V', I could drop it fast.

Etickets arrived a few seconds later, and YES, they are V class.

Many, many thanks again to FlyingOnceMore for this find! ^^^

Now, for somewhere to stay..............

Steve.

Great deals - it is at times like this I wish I was back down in London. Unfortunately in the regions we still get the non-promo, more expensive, less mile earning tickets.

For those of you doing this, enjoy Stockholm! ^

Well, it depends which region. You can fly from ABZ to the other 2008 European capital of culture also at a sale price, in fact for a few pounds less than LON-ARN.

Aberdeen? That's a different country I was selfishly thinking of Manchester as the regions, but in best Life of Brian fashion, what have SAS done for the regions with this sale with the exception of London and Aberdeen?

Don't worry RAPC... it seems that Birmingham has once again been excluded (with the joy of 63 upward singles in very low class earning fares to CPH).

Of course... everyone wants to hub through Heathrow

Well, look at this way: a quick BD hop or two to ABZ to get the 4.5K/9K bonus then onwards on SK to savour the northern delights of Stavanger.
Admittedly, MAN-ABZ fares are rarely bargain basement, though, so perhaps MAN-LHR-ARN following the same logic?
