Multiple Classes
Hi,
I need to go from A to C (within a single zone). I have checked some flight possibilities using the ANA tool and I can get availability via 'B' but in different classes:
From: A to C via B within a single zone
A to B - economy is available
B to C - business is available
I would like (and expect) to redeem the requisite number of miles for the flight from A to C (rather than redeem A to B and B to C which will cost me double).
1. Will I get charged a mix of economy and business miles?
2. Will I get charged business miles?
3. Will they disallow this routing?
Thanks
S

This is allowed, and likely you will get charged the amount of miles for A to C for the class of the longest flight, but I wouldn't completely rule out that they will charge for business even if the longest flight is in economy. I suppose economy is not available for B-C? Note that if this is in zone 1 or 2 there will be the connection miles charge.

Hi,
Thanks. Yes, you are correct - they allowed me to book in multiple classes and charged me miles based on the class associated with the longest sector.
