Google Checkout
Hi,
I am very new to all this, so apologises if this has been discussed before and thank you to all the valuable information that is shared here. My question is whether goggle checkout is a method of credit card (thinking of the BMI mastercard) spend to get miles? Is anyone doing it? Is it possible/worth while/legal?

Surely easier just to apply for another BMI Mastercard (or two) ....!!
As you will see from the sticky in this forum, you can get quite a few of these bits of plastic and pick up 20,000 miles each time.
In the past, similar opportunities to this have come along. Last year some people were offered miles for doing a balance transfer on the MBNA card. American Express also let you use a credit card to order an American Express Travellers Cheque Card, which you could then use in a cash machine to get your money back. Travelex has, in the past, let you buy Sterling Travellers Cheques for cash and given miles.
Stick around on FT and something like this will come along again. However, these schemes always carry a degree of risk (look at the trouble some BA board members have had with Marriott in the recent Marriott / Tesco / BA game) so you should only take part when you have a bit more experience under your belt and know exactly what you are doing.
