SQ's LHR-SIN-China(PEK/PVG etc) idea looks good but the price of China - ICN flights makes it prohibitive (at least the ones I've seen), even if this part was a redemption booking. If you prefer flying to ICN, there are also LHR/MAN-SIN-Far East(NRT/ICN/KIX etc) fares which is apporx. 620 GBP in M class, 650 GBP in B class.

If you want combine with ex-ICN SQ ticket to Europe, there is SQ B class 6M rebookable fare.
It's 873,000 KRW (approx. 495 GBP).

These fare can also be booked online at SQ website.

AHO, I'm not quite sure where you got those fares from? I can't find anything on the SQ website for February '07 like those, except for one-ways. Is that what you're suggesting? (I'm not sure I understand you)

Please remember the prices shown above are excluded taxes and "ridiculous" fuel surcharges.
Sum of taxes and fuel surcharges will be approx. 187 GBP if you make stopover in SIN both ways.

You may find less expensive fare at chinese TAs in UK.
