Just in the middle of a trip at the moment using miles.
MAN - CHICAGO BD
CHICAGO - SFO UNITED
LAX - TORONTO - AIR CANADA
TORONTO - THUNDER BAY - AIR CANADA
THUNDER BAY - TORONTO - AIR CANADA
TORONTO - CHICAGO - UNITED
CHICAGO - MAN - BD
All business class except the Thunder Bay leg (isnt available on the flight), all for a single US return miles + money.
Min overnight in all locations apart from last three flights which are on same day, total travel is just over a month.
Booked about 3 months in advance, took about 4 calls to get all the flights held, but worth it.

Booked in April 05 for travel in October 05. UA from CDG to SFO one way with a stopover in Austin, Texas. Route CDG-ORD-AUS, then AUS-SFO. Cash and miles in F. I had to be a little flexible on dates as availability varied on the different sectors.
